Urban Regeneration

Bardell Wharf is a complex urban regeneration scheme taking several redundant brownfield sites and knitting them together to form a new creative quarter for Rochester.

The scheme comprises:
• 331 warehouse inspired apartments
• Circa 2,600sq.m of retail and office space which includes dedicated start up space in both sectors.

With a nod to the historic industrial uses of the area, Bardell Wharf is the culmination of time spent identifying and critiquing the re-use of historic industrial buildings across the UK and further afield. The result is an inspired development that will attract inward investment and visitors whilst providing new amenities for local people all in close proximity to the new Rochester train station and Rochester Riverside

Planning permission was granted in November 2019 and site works are due to commence late 2021
